This Scrap Dealer Policy ("Policy") outlines the terms, conditions, and responsibilities for scrap dealers using the Wastix platform. By registering and transacting on the platform, you agree to abide by these policies. Failure to do so may result in suspension or termination of your account.
To become a registered dealer on Wastix, you must complete the registration process and provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. Any changes to your business details must be promptly updated in your account. You are responsible for safeguarding your account login information and for any activity conducted under your account.
Wastix reserves the right to verify your credentials and suspend or terminate your account if we detect fraudulent or misleading information.
As a scrap dealer, you must comply with all applicable local, state, and national regulations concerning the purchase, handling, and disposal of scrap materials. This includes ensuring that all scrap materials you buy are legally acquired and free from hazardous substances or any unlawful materials.
Any attempt to sell or purchase scrap that violates any laws or regulations, including illegal or stolen items, is strictly prohibited. If found in violation, your account will be suspended or terminated, and legal action may be pursued.
Dealers must ensure that all transactions are carried out transparently, fairly, and according to the terms agreed upon with the seller. You are expected to:

All payments for scrap transactions conducted through Wastix must be made in full and on time as per the agreed terms. Failure to make payments on time may result in account suspension or termination. Payments should be made through the secure payment gateways provided by Wastix.
In case of disputes between a dealer and a seller, we encourage both parties to resolve the matter amicably. Wastix may provide mediation services to help reach a resolution, but we are not responsible for directly intervening in any disputes. If legal action is necessary, disputes will be resolved in accordance with the laws of India and the jurisdiction of New Delhi courts.
Wastix reserves the right to suspend or terminate a dealer's account if they violate any terms of this policy, engage in fraudulent or illegal activities, or fail to comply with local, state, or national regulations. In such cases, any outstanding transactions may also be canceled, and you will lose access to the platform.
As a dealer, you agree to respect the privacy of sellers and buyers. Any personal or sensitive information obtained during the course of transactions should not be shared without prior consent, unless required by law. We recommend following best practices for data protection and adhering to the privacy guidelines outlined in Wastix’s Privacy Policy.
Wastix reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. All modifications will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically to ensure you are compliant with the latest terms and conditions.
