1. Use of the Platform
You must be at least 18 years old to use Wastix. By using our services, you agree to the following:
Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
Ensure that all materials sold on the platform are legally owned by you and are not illegal or stolen items.
Comply with all local laws and regulations regarding scrap materials.
2. Seller's Responsibilities
As a seller on Wastix, you are responsible for:
Providing correct descriptions and details of the scrap being sold, including the type, quantity, and condition.
Ensuring that the scrap is free from hazardous materials and complies with local waste disposal regulations.
Ensuring that the scrap sold is not stolen, and is not the property of another individual or entity.
Arranging for the transportation or pickup of the scrap if applicable.
3. Buyer's Responsibilities
As a buyer on Wastix, you are responsible for:
Reviewing the scrap details provided by the seller.
Ensuring that any scrap purchased is used or disposed of legally and responsibly.
Arranging for the pickup or delivery of purchased scrap materials.
4. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on the platform:
Sale of stolen or illegal scrap materials.
Sale or distribution of hazardous, toxic, or regulated materials without appropriate clearance.
Providing false or misleading information about scrap items.
Using the platform for fraudulent activities or illegal purposes.
5. Termination of Account
Wastix reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if we believe that you have violated these Terms, engaged in illegal activities, or failed to comply with our platform's rules. This can be done without prior notice and at our sole discretion.
6. Limitation of Liability
Wastix will not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the platform, including any content or transactions on the platform. You use the platform at your own risk.
7. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from the use of the Wastix platform will be governed by the laws of India. In case of any disagreements, we will attempt to resolve the issue through mediation or alternative dispute resolution (ADR). If mediation fails, the dispute will be submitted to the courts in New Delhi, India.
8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Wastix reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. All changes will be posted on this page, and the "Effective Date" will be updated accordingly. By continuing to use the platform after such changes, you accept and agree to the new Terms.
